IndiaZakat.com – Draft Cause Approval Process (For Cause Approvers)
1. Review the Cause ID and verify the cause category.
2. Check that all mandatory documents specific to the category are uploaded.
3. Ensure that the Zakat eligibility letter from the local Masjid Imam is present.
4. Cross-check beneficiary KYC documents with submitted forms.
5. Confirm that bank details (of college/hospital/vendor) are on official letterhead and duly signed/stamped.
6. Contact the school or vendor to check the account details and make sure they are correct.
7. Only upon complete verification should the cause be marked as Approved.
8. Any exceptions, like paying the beneficiary directly, need approval from AMP leadership
9. After approval, update the system and tell the finance team to process the payment.

Eligibility Criteria:
- NGO must be 1.5 to 2 years old.
- Should be recognized or well-known in their locality.
- Must submit proof of past ground-level social work (photos, letters, reports).
- NGO must be officially registered with valid documents.
For Ration Kit Causes:
- NGO PAN and President’s Aadhaar (mandatory)
- Vendor Quotation with per kit cost (mandatory)
- NGO or Vendor Bank Details
- Masjid Letter in NGO’s Favor- Tasdeek Nama
- Beneficiary List with Names, Contacts, Aadhaar Numbers
- NGO Audit Report (preferred)
- Distribution Pictures, Videos, and Bills (mandatory post-disbursal)
