IndiaZakat.com (IZC) is completely free for the Beneficiary and Donors. We don’t charge any Processing fee, Platform fee or Contract fee. Funds in total are disbursed to the end beneficiary. Thus 100% Fund raised on the platform is disbursed to the beneficiaries.
The Payment Gateway used for donation on the platform, deducts on an average 2% fees including GST, on each donation before it reaches to us. Hence the beneficiary gets the total fund minus this fee.
Whereas direct Bank transfers from savings account through NEFT, there are no charges.
IT expenses such as cost of building, developing, maintaining, vendor charges and all other expenses including the Office administration & Staff salary expenses, for the country’s first Zakat based crowdfunding platform is managed by Association of Muslim Professionals - AMP
IndiaZakat.com accepts donations in INR, from Indian nationals only and only from bank accounts within India.
IndiaZakat.com does not accept any fund from any other nationalities’ bank accounts or cards.

2. Refund Policy
Donations made through IndiaZakat.com (IZC) are final and cannot be refunded.
However, IndiaZakat.com may refund at its discretion in following scenario;
If after approval of a cause, Cause is identified as fraudulent (though Team IndiaZakat.com takes all necessary measures of scrutiny), completely or partly, violating the terms of service and if NO funds are transferred to the Recipient towards the same, IndiaZakat.com may speak to individual Donors and either refund the amount to Donor or transfer the amount to any other existing cause as per the wish of Donors. Or the same donations will be transferred to other existing causes on the platform.
Any other claims for refunds shall be honoured at the discretion of IndiaZakat.com Operations and Management Team.
All refunds will be credited to the original mode of payment in 12-15 bank working days.
IMPORTANT POINTS: 1. Unclaimed Funds:
IndiaZakat.com raises funds for different causes and in some cases, it might happen that the beneficiary does not claim the raised funds for some reasons. In such cases, IndiaZakat.com pay-out team will keep on contacting the beneficiary through Message, Call, Email for a certain amount of time.
If there is NO RESPONSE from the beneficiary or if the beneficiary does not claim the raised amount within stipulated 90 days, then the amount raised will be considered as “Unclaimed Fund” in next quarter of the year i.e., after 180 days (6 months).
For such funds that remain unclaimed by the beneficiary, the amount will be donated to preferably ‘other Causes of related category’. For example, donation received for Education cause which is not claimed, it will be re-donated to other Education causes only.

2. Surplus Amount:
By “Surplus Amount” here, we mean the excess amount of the fund-raised that exceeds the goal amount of any particular cause.
In such a scenario, the payment gateway commission is deducted from the surplus fund and the Beneficiary is given the full amount for which the Cause was raised.
It’s a rare situation but for such extra amount (surplus amount) that is raised, IndiaZakat.com reserves the right to put it into a ‘Surplus amount raised’ category and the amount will be utilized for the “Surplus amount raise” category and the amount will be utilized for the administrative costs and office expenses of IndiaZakat.com
3. Large Donations:
Donations through "Direct Bank Transfer" saves 2% cost charged by payment gateway.
Hence, it is advisable for Donors to make large donations via the direct bank transfer option so that they can save the 2% cost on the donated amount.
The donors can make direct donation of the larger amounts to below back account which will reflect in cause raiser fund within 2 bank working days.
