My name is Hishamuddin, a father of eight children living in Malana village, Barmer (Rajasthan). Life has been a constant struggle for our family. Despite our hardships, Alhamdulillah, my children are growing up with faith and love for the Deen.

My elder daughter is physically challenged, and I take care of her full-time. Among my children, one son and one daughter have become Hafiz-e-Quran, Alhamdulillah, their achievement is my greatest blessing. But with no stable income and so many dependents, it has become extremely difficult to provide for our daily needs — food, medicine, and education.

I wish to start a small home-based livelihood - by making and selling traditional rope cots (charpoys). If I can buy ready-made frames and ropes, I can assemble and sell them to earn a modest living for my family.
