Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh, Dear donors

Meet, Sumaiya Mishfar, a 23-year-old young sister who has been living in darkness for the past 13 years after losing her eyesight at a very young age. Despite her condition, Sumaiya has remained patient, gentle, and hopeful, holding onto one dream, to see the world again.

By the mercy of Allah (SWT), Sumaiya has already undergone an initial eye procedure at Sankara Nethralaya, Chennai, a reputed eye care institution. Doctors have now advised a final follow-up surgery (Mucous Membrane Graft Revision) which is crucial to complete the treatment and restore her vision. This surgery is scheduled soon and cannot be delayed.

Unfortunately, Sumaiya’s family comes from a financially weak background and is unable to afford the required medical expenses. The total cost of the surgery is Rs. 40,000, which is beyond their means.

Today, we humbly reach out to you, our brothers and sisters in Islam, to help bring light back into Sumaiya’s life. Your contribution, no matter how small, can become a means of Sadaqah Jariyah and a source of immense reward in the Hereafter.
