Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh, Dear donors
My name is Mohammed Umar, and I work tirelessly as a Zomato delivery partner in a non-metro city. For the past two years, I have spent long days riding an old bike through narrow roads, under scorching sun and heavy rain, accepting every order I can find just to earn enough to feed my family.
I am the sole breadwinner for my household, which includes three daughters and two young sons. Every rupee I earn goes toward food, rent, and basic survival. On days when orders are scarce, I quietly skip meals so my children can eat. These sacrifices are never spoken aloud, but they are made daily with patience and faith.
Despite our hardship, I firmly believe that education is the only path out of poverty. With great difficulty, borrowing from relatives and cutting down on essentials, I managed to pay half of my children’s school fees at St. Joseph’s English Medium High School.
Today, however, my heart is heavy.
My daughter Maheen Rifat, a sincere and hardworking Grade 4 student, has been barred from attending her Internal Assessment Exams due to the remaining unpaid fees. She loves studying and dreams of doing well in school, but now her books remain closed, and her confidence is slowly fading.
Our family is fully Zakat-eligible, falling under the categories of the poor and needy. We humbly appeal to the generous donors of India Zakat to help clear the remaining school fees for Maheen Rifat, so her education can continue without interruption and her future is not compromised by our financial hardship.
Please come forward and help us in this difficult time.
May Allah grant you barakah in your wealth, protect your families, and elevate your ranks in this world and the Hereafter.
Jazakallahu Khairan.
