S. Theen Thasveen Nihara is a determined second-year B.Com student at Wavoo Wajeeha Women’s College of Arts and Science, holding on to her dream of completing higher education despite overwhelming financial challenges.

Life took a difficult turn for Nihara when her parents separated. Since then, her mother has been the sole pillar of support for the family. She works on a daily wage basis, earning a modest and uncertain income that is barely enough to meet essential needs such as food and house rent. Despite her mother’s tireless efforts, providing for higher education has become an unbearable burden.

Adding to the family’s responsibilities, Nihara’s elder sister is currently pursuing her second year of Madharsha Aalima studies. With two daughters studying and only one irregular source of income, the family is struggling to cope.

Nihara is a hardworking and sincere student who firmly believes that education is her only path toward a stable and dignified future. However, due to financial constraints, she is now at risk of discontinuing her B.Com. studies. To continue her second year, she urgently requires ₹25,960 toward her college fees.
