Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh, Dear donors

My name is Sarah Kulsum, and I am a second-year Pre-University student. I am writing this appeal with a heavy heart, seeking help for my family during one of the most difficult times of our lives.

Our family has been shattered by illness and hardship. My mother suffered a severe brain stroke & remained bedridden, and sadly, she passed away last year. Her loss has left us emotionally broken and financially vulnerable.

My father is a diabetic patient suffering from gangrene, with a deep wound in his leg. For the past two years, he has been unable to walk or work and is completely bedridden. He requires continuous medical care and medication, which we struggle to afford.

My elder brother, who is in his final year of degree, works night shifts while studying during the day. With the kind support of the IndiaZakat team and donors, he is continuing his education. He is the only earning member of our family. From his limited income, he tries to manage house rent, daily expenses, father’s medical costs, and repayment of debts taken during my mother’s treatment. Despite his best efforts, it has become extremely difficult for him to manage everything alone.

We have not paid house rent for the past seven months, and our security deposit has already been used. We are now at serious risk of losing our home. Due to unpaid fees, my college principal was forced to send me home, interrupting my education and future.

We are standing at a point where basic survival has become a struggle.

We humbly request the Muslim community and kind-hearted donors to come forward and support us. Your Zakat, Sadaqah, or any form of assistance can help us pay rent, continue my education, manage medical expenses, and live with dignity during this painful phase.

Every contribution, no matter how small, will bring relief and hope to our family.
