Association of Muslim Professionals (AMP) started the AMP Zakat Fund in 2013 to empower underprivileged Muslims through Education and Self-Employment, aiming to transform a Zakat Seeker into a Zakat Giver while supporting the needy.

In a Hadith, Beloved Prophet Muhammad SAW mentioned the reward for helping a Muslim brother: "Allah helps His servant as long as the servant helps his brother."
Sahih Muslim (2699) & Tirmidhi (1930)

In 2025, AMP Zakat Fund supported 223 poor families by disbursing Rs. 60.94 lakhs to set up small business and become self reliant.
