Abdul Hakim, a 57-year-old vegetable seller from Ekra Basethi, Araria (Bihar), has spent his entire life working hard to feed his family of seven. Every day, he would go out to earn a small income, just enough to provide basic necessities for his loved ones.

Today, that same hardworking man is fighting for his life.

For the past few months, Abdul Hakim has been seriously unwell. After medical tests, doctors diagnosed him with Cholangiocarcinoma, a severe and life-threatening cancer. Doctors have advised urgent treatment, including surgery and chemotherapy, to save his life.

The estimated cost of his treatment at City Hospital, Araria is ₹5,20,000, an amount far beyond his reach.

As the only earning member of the family, his illness has left the entire household in deep distress. There is no income, no savings, and no support system. His family is struggling even for daily needs, while he continues to battle this deadly disease.
