My name is Suraiya Bano, a widow & a mother of two children. My husband passed away suddenly due to a cardiac arrest. He was the only earning member of our family, and after his death, our lives changed completely.

My son has been affected by polio since childhood. His left hand is shorter, and he needs constant care and support. I also have a daughter whose Nikah responsibility is upon me, but I have no stable source of income to fulfill this duty.

Earlier, I worked as a housemaid to support my children. Sadly, due to my poor health, diabetes, back pain, and high blood pressure, I am no longer able to do physical work. Each day has become a struggle to manage basic needs.

With hope in my heart, I wish to start a small home-based grocery store. This will help me earn a halal income, support my children, and live with dignity without depending on others.
