Khatoon Shabeena Bee is a hardworking and courageous mother who is struggling to support her family under extremely difficult circumstances.

Her husband is physically handicapped and unable to walk properly, which makes it impossible for him to work and earn a livelihood. Because of his condition, the entire responsibility of supporting the family has fallen on Shabeena Bee’s shoulders.

Shabeena Bee is the sole earning member of the family. She works wherever she can find work—sometimes as a daily wage laborer in the fields planting crops, and at other times she cooks rotis in other people’s homes to earn a small amount of money. Despite her hard work, the income she earns is very little and irregular.

Shabeena Bee is the mother of five children – four daughters and one young son. All of them depend on her for food, care, and their basic needs. Managing the household expenses for such a large family has become extremely difficult.

The family also lives in a very broken and damaged house, which barely provides safe shelter. Life for them is a constant struggle, and even meeting daily needs like food and clothing is challenging.

To improve her family’s situation, Shabeena Bee wishes to start a small kirana (grocery) shop. A small shop would allow her to earn a steady income close to home so that she can take care of her disabled husband and young children while also supporting the household.

However, due to her poor financial condition, she does not have the money required to start the shop. Therefore, she is humbly requesting help from generous donors.
