This is a humble appeal from Mukthiar Baig, son of Basheer Ahamed Baig, who is struggling to support his large family with dignity and patience.

Mukthiar lives with his wife, his three small children — including a newly born baby boy — and his elderly mother-in-law and father-in-law. He is the only earning member of the family and carries the full responsibility of feeding, caring for, and protecting them.

For many years, he worked hard by driving both a car and an auto rickshaw on rent. Today, driving an auto rickshaw is his only source of income. However, he does not own the vehicle. Every single day, he must pay ₹400 as rent for the auto. This comes to nearly ₹10,000 per month.

Most of his hard-earned income goes directly toward paying this rent. After paying the auto rent, very little money is left for:

• House rent

• Food and daily expenses

• Medicines and treatment

• Care for his children

His father-in-law is a heart patient and has undergone an angiogram. Regular medicines and medical checkups are necessary. Managing these expenses while paying heavy auto rent has become extremely difficult.

Despite all hardships, Mukthiar continues to work honestly to earn halal income. He does not want to depend on charity for daily survival. Instead, he is requesting one-time support to purchase his own auto rickshaw.

Owning an auto rickshaw would:

• Free him from the daily ₹400 rental burden

• Increase his monthly savings

• Help him provide proper medical care to his in-laws

• Secure a stable future for his three small children

• Allow him to live with dignity and self-respect
