Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh, With great hope and humility, a struggling mother is reaching out to the kind and generous donors of the community for support in continuing her daughter’s higher education.S. Afrin Banu is a sincere, hardworking, and determined student who has always believed that education is the key to building a dignified and stable future. Despite financial hardship at home, she remained focused on her studies and continued to work towards her dreams.

With the generous support of India Zakat Centre (IZC) donors in the past, Afrin Banu was able to successfully complete her Undergraduate degree. This support gave her the opportunity to move forward in life and pursue higher education.

Alhamdulillah, she has now taken the next important step by enrolling in a Postgraduate course – M.A. in Human Resource Management. She dreams of completing her studies, finding a good job, and supporting her widowed mother and family so they can live with dignity and stability.

However, her journey is now facing a serious financial challenge. The total annual college fee is ₹36,000. With great struggle and difficulty, the family somehow managed to arrange and pay the first semester fee.

Now the second semester fee of ₹18,000 is due, and the family has no means to arrange this amount. Without immediate support, Afrin Banu may be forced to discontinue her studies, putting her dreams and years of hard work at risk.

For a widow’s family with very limited resources, arranging such an amount is extremely difficult. Yet Afrin Banu continues to hold on to hope that kind-hearted donors will help her continue her education.
