This is a humble appeal from Ajaj Sayyad, a hardworking rickshaw driver who struggles every day to provide for his family. He spends long hours driving his rickshaw so that he can earn enough to feed his family and take care of his children’s basic needs. His daily income is very small, and whatever he earns is used immediately for household expenses.

A few years ago, Ajaj faced a major test in his life when his father was diagnosed with cancer. To save his father, he spent all his life savings and whatever little money he had on medical treatment. He never regretted this sacrifice, because serving and caring for parents is a great act of devotion and a means of earning Allah’s pleasure.

But today, Ajaj is facing another heartbreaking trial.

His young child is suffering from serious breathing problems. Doctors have advised that the child needs urgent surgery, otherwise the condition could become life-threatening. For any parent, seeing their child in pain is one of the greatest hardships in life.

Ajaj prays to Allah every day for his child’s recovery, but the cost of the medical operation is far beyond what he can afford with his small income as a rickshaw driver. After spending everything on his father’s treatment, he now has no savings left to manage this emergency.

With great humility and hope, Ajaj is turning to the kindness of the community and requesting Zakat, Sadaqah, or any form of financial assistance. Even a small contribution from donors can become a means of saving the life of his child.

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
"Whoever relieves a believer’s distress in this world, Allah will relieve his distress on the Day of Judgment."
